Studied crafts&art in Kirchheim-Teck and carpentry in Stuttgart. After extended travels throughout Mexico in the eighties and a one-year-work-stay at the museum Na Bolom in San Cristobal de las Casas/Chiapas, he finally settled 1991 in Mexico-City where he still lives. There, he teaches art&craft in diferent schools and works as an artist mainly doing sculptures and woodprints. Since 1999 he had shown his work in multiple one-man-shows and group exhibitions. Since 2002 he is an art-promoter, founding the group meXylo, fine print makers showing their etchings in Europe and Mexico. As a non-stop-traveller he crosses the country constanteley which is on one side inspiration for his own work and frequently as well his prefered theme. Since 2005 he is a state offical tourist guide for german-, spanish- and english spoken Mexico-Traveller.
